Erik Schempp’s path to building dream homes wasn’t a straight line—it was a leap of passion. After earning a Bachelor of Technology degree from McMaster University, he launched his career as a software developer. But while coding by day, he was building something entirely different by night: renovating homes, refining his craft, and discovering where his true passion lay.
By 2016, with the unwavering support of his now wife, Erik made the bold decision to trade his keyboard for a tool belt and turn his side hustle into Schempp Homes. He hasn’t looked back since.
Today, Erik leads every project with a hands-on approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
